Would you like to get started with electronics for the Raspberry Pi Pico? Join us for an hour of electronics with our simple workshop aimed at people who are new to the Raspberry Pi Pico and would like to get started with MicroPython programming.

During our workshop, you will:

  • Be introduced to the fascinating world of physical computing with Raspberry Pi Pico
  • Create your own traffic lights system using LEDs and a buzzer
  • Create a reaction game using a button
  • Learn to program hardware using MicroPython

You only need basic knowledge of computers to attend.

This workshop is most suitable for children aged eight and above, but younger children might enjoy taking part with help from an adult; teenagers and adults who want to learn about the topic are also welcome. Adults accompanying children are welcome to join and don’t need to sign up. We ask that parents and carers of children under 16 kindly remain in the store for the duration of the workshop. Seating will be available.
