Calling all makers! The West Virginia Makes Festival, the state and region’s largest maker fair, returns Friday, October 6, 2023! Our 10th annual festival on the campus of Marshall University in Huntington promises to be bigger and better than ever! Join our celebration of creativity and ingenuity in all forms. Show off your innovations, inventions or other creative endeavors and compete for prizes, including cash! See awe-inspiring demonstrations. Participate in hands-on making activities for people of all ages. Listen to some rocking music! The fun is free!

Brett White, West Virgina’s first (and currently only) Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, will be showing the recently announced Raspberry Pi 5 as an exclusive first look, while also showing information about the 6th Annual Raspberry Jam WV, along with information about his hands-on classes at the University of Charleston exclusively utilizing Raspberry Pi units and Raspberry Pi Pico and Pico W!
