Join the Dallas/Ft. Worth Raspberry Pi User Group for a special edition of our monthly meeting at TheLab.ms Makerspace in Richardson, TX — a hands-on event with the new Raspberry Pi 5! 👩‍💻

In addition to letting you size up this amazing new technological device, we’ll review some ways it can help you learn new technical topics and put them to use:

• 📈 Get the lowdown on the specs and evolution of Raspberry Pi all the way through the newest generation. You can also see an original Raspberry Pi from the first batch of 10,000 (🤞 maybe we’ll even be able to coax it out of retirement to do some parlor tricks)

• 👀 Check out a computer vision and home assistant demonstration using Raspberry Pi

• 🥧 Take home pi(e) recipes with basic information and links to help you get started in home automation, machine learning and other areas!

• 🎁 One lucky attendee will get to take home (by random number generator drawing on a Raspberry Pi of course) a free Raspberry Pi 5, cooler and power supply. Another Raspberry Pi 5 will remain at TheLab.ms Makerspace to allow others to learn about Raspberry Pi.
