- Unboxing: Carefully unbox your Raspberry Pi and ensure all components are included
- Connecting peripherals: Connect your keyboard, mouse, and monitor to the Raspberry Pi
- Powering on: Plug in the power supply and turn on your Raspberry Pi
- Installing Raspbian OS: Follow the on-screen instructions to install Raspbian OS
Basic coding concepts:
- Variables: Store and manipulate data using variables
- Data types: Understand the different data types, such as integers, strings, and lists
- Loops: Use loops to repeat tasks and iterate over data
- Conditional statements: Make decisions using if-else statements
- Opening the Python IDLE: Access the Python IDLE from the Raspbian menu
- Writing your first code: (“Hello, World!”) and press Enter
- Running your code: Execute your code and see the output etc.
