Details

Raspberry Pi is celebrating its twelfth birthday this year (or third birthday as it was born on 29th Feb 2012). We love the Pi and many of us have a whole family of them.

Raspberry Pi has gifted us some Pis, so we will be giving them away to people attending In Real Life (IRL). Online attendees also have a chance to win!

In Real Life is much better as you get to meet us in 3D! The IRL session will be longer, so we can all show off stuff we built or think is cool. We will be off to a pub afterwards to raise a pint to Raspberry Pi, so we hope you join us.

You can join us In Real Life (IRL) at Computacenter, 100 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 8HL. Enter via the Computacenter main entrance, they’re glass doors. The security staff will be aware that Raspberry Pint is being organised there. Michael Turner is the contact for Computacenter.

For those of you who are new to Raspberry Pint, most of our presentations are about building personal or professional projects with Raspberry Pis and maker technology. We also welcome presentations about skills and techniques such as website design, PCB design, software development, 3D printing, soldering, etc. Occasionally, we have had presentations about artificial intelligence, big data, IoT, etc. and would love to hear about what you do in your hobby or professional life. All makers and all digital making welcome. The quirkier, the better.

Everyone is welcome to take part — we have no lower or upper age limit and all content is suitable for everyone.
