DESCRIPTION:**Raspberry Pi in Wiki Tech: Exploring AI Hardware for Wikimedi
a Projects**\n\nWe will discover how Raspberry Pi transforms wiki collabor
 ation through always-on availability\, AI-powered automation\, and cost-ef
fective infrastructure. This hands-on session explores why dedicated Pi se
rvers outperform personal laptops for team wiki projects\, covering bot de
velopment\, AI testing environments\, and simultaneous multi-user collabor
ation. Learn to build persistent MediaWiki systems that enable round-the-c
lock contribution\, automated content management\, and intelligent monitor
ing all while consuming less power than a light bulb.\n\nThe session aims
to:\n\n* Explore the technical capabilities of Raspberry Pi 5 for AI/ML an
d JavaScript-heavy Wikimedia use cases\n\n* Examine how hardware accelerat
ors such as the Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ expand on-device AI capabilities\n\n*
Discuss practical Wikimedia-aligned applications of local AI and automati
on\n\n* Encourage student and newcomer participation in Wiki Tech through
affordable hardware\n\n* Initiate a taskforce to continue experimentation\
 , documentation\, and prototyping after the event\n\nhttps://events.raspbe
