This event is a hub for developers, enthusiasts, and Wikimedia volunteers to connect, share projects, exchange ideas, and explore how low-cost hardware can empower the free knowledge movement.

Whether you’re presenting a project, seeking inspiration, or just curious about digital making, come and be a part of the local maker community!

Objective: Powering Free Knowledge

This event aims to foster the spirit of open-source and digital making, specifically focusing on the intersection of hardware and Wikimedia projects:

  • Share Projects & Ideas: Showcase any projects related to Raspberry Pi, microcontrollers, and open-source hardware.
  • Wiki-Hardware Brainstorm: Identify and develop ideas for using low-cost hardware to support Wikimedia goals (e.g., offline access, data collection, GLAM efforts).
  • Experience Exchange: Discuss articles and experiences from Raspberry Pi magazines (The MagPi, Wireframe, etc.) and related publications.
  • Make Connections: Build a network of technical contributors for the Hardware Tools Supporting Wikimedia Projects initiative.

What to Expect (Topics & Activities)
