Details
- Do you hate sitting around waiting for code to cross-compile?
- Do you also have to deploy a nixos configuration to a low power aarch_64 devices?
- Have you also run out of free credits on nixbuild.net?
If you too meet these weirdly specific criteria, you’ll be excited to hear that Seb will be running a “How to setup a Raspberry Pi to be a remote aarch_64 nixos builder” on 2026-08-27, where they will run through how they setup a Pi to build all of the ARM NixOS images for the University Computer Club, so that QEMU emulated builds are a thing of the past!*
(* for aarch_64 builds, until the RISC-V board arrives!)
