“Raspberry Pi for Wikipedia in Education” is a technical session focused on using low-cost Raspberry Pi devices to support Wikimedia education initiatives. It demonstrates how offline tools like Internet-in-a-Box and local MediaWiki setups can create Wi-Fi learning environments, enabling students and educators to access and contribute to Wikipedia even in low or no internet connectivity areas, while promoting digital literacy and open knowledge.
