The STEAMettes will be holding a special Raspberry Pi Pico day on Saturday 1 February, from 3pm to 5pm.

As you can see from the photo, the girls love investigating Raspberry Pi. At the event, they will be showcasing Pico 2, the latest board in the Pico series featuring the new RP2350 microcontroller, which brings significant performance and feature improvements. In a recent project, the girls replaced the BBC micro:bit with a Pico to power the LEDs on their Christmas tree.

A Raspberry Pi 5 and a Raspberry Pi AI HAT+ will also be on display at the event.
