Join us for a special Raspberry JAM at the Language Diversity Conference 2026 in Accra, Ghana — an informal, hands-on gathering connecting Raspberry Pi, open hardware, open-source technology, Wikimedia, and language diversity.

Explore how affordable hardware such as Raspberry Pi and Internet-in-a-Box (IIAB) can help communities access, create, and share open knowledge in local and underrepresented languages, including in places where reliable internet access is limited.

At the Raspberry JAM, you can:

• See Raspberry Pi projects and live demonstrations.
• Explore Internet-in-a-Box (IIAB) and offline Wikipedia.
• Discover ways to support local and indigenous-language knowledge.
• Explore cameras, sensors, scanners, and other Raspberry Pi applications.
• Share projects, ideas, and experiences with Wikimedians, educators, language communities, and makers.
• Explore opportunities for using open hardware and open-source technology in language and Wikimedia communities.

What to Expect

The session will include short demonstrations, hands-on exploration, informal discussion, project sharing, and networking.

No previous Raspberry Pi or programming experience is required — curiosity and enthusiasm are enough!
